Long Khanh Garden

Long Khanh Garden is a garden house project in Long Khanh, designed by H+ Studio in 2026. Set on a large plot among coconut palms, mature trees and open lawn, the building is imagined as a light, shared pavilion – a place for the extended family to cook, talk and play together at weekends.

The project is defined by a broad pitched roof that reaches far out, carried on a slender steel frame with horizontal timber louvres in the gable. Beneath it, floor-to-ceiling sliding glass walls can open completely, turning the interior into one large, breezy veranda. The louvres shade the space while letting air and light through, casting shifting patterns of light and shadow throughout the day.

Inside is one continuous open space: a dark timber kitchen and bar with lit built-in niches against an earthy ochre wall, a long dining table for the whole family and a billiards table for play. A timber-lined ceiling with exposed trusses, timber-bladed ceiling fans and a dark stone floor keep the space cool and rustic.

The house sits on a slightly raised platform above the lawn, wrapped by a wide veranda with a hammock, long benches and terracotta jars. Curving concrete paths lead past a lotus pond, large boulders and a children's play area, linking the pavilion to the surrounding houses.

The project was designed in 2026 and has not yet started construction.
