Tran Xuan Do House

Tran Xuan Do House is a townhouse in Vung Tau, designed for a family seeking privacy and greenery in the middle of the city. The facade is framed by two tall white walls, between which vertical timber louvres provide shade and planters spill greenery down the front, creating a soft buffer between the home and the street.

Inside, the living room, dining area and kitchen share a tall, airy space that opens onto a planted light well at the centre of the house. A white staircase with slender balustrades leads up through the floors, letting daylight from the light well flow through and connect the levels.

The bedrooms use dark timber, light walls, ceiling fans and colourful paintings as accents. Many open onto balconies with hanging plants and views over the city, while a bathroom clad in plum-coloured mosaic adds a personal touch. The house feels warm, calm and always close to nature.
